A skilled deceiver, Trump delivered lies quickly and intimidated Collins with his bravado, taking over the stage at several moments during the town hall.
Trump’s 2020 Election Lies
Regarding the 2020 election, Trump lied. He accepted no accountability for the rebellion that those very lies had sparked on January 6. Additionally, he made fun of the sexual assault accusations made by E. Jean Carroll, which a jury convicted him guilty of on Tuesday.

When Trump called former Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi “crazy Nancy,” they also laughed. When Trump became irate with CNN’s 31-year-old moderator Kaitlan Collins, everyone laughed. He informed her, “You’re a nasty person, I’ll tell ya,” to which his admirers in the crowd let out happy giggles. For her part, Collins was woefully outmatched and unable to verify the constant barrage of false information coming from Trump.
