Pundit Hits Out at Donald Trump Calling Him “A Mentally Deranged, Narcissistic, Dangerous, Horrible Man”

A political pundit has torn into Donald Trump and said she just can’t understand why anyone would vote for him.

Morning Joe Attack

Claire McCaskill, a former Democratic Senator from Missouri and now a political commentator, was speaking on MSNBC’s Morning Joe show when she ripped into the former president who is aiming to be elected again in the 2024 presidential election.

Biden Plummeting Popularity

It comes as Trump, the Republican Party frontrunner, looks set to battle President Joe Biden, the leading Democratic Party candidate for its nomination, in the 2024 race. And as the incumbent falls in the polls.

Biden the Underdog

McCaskill told host Joe Scarborough that it was wrong to write President Biden off because he had traditionally been the underdog but usually came out on top.

Biden as ‘Toast’

The ex-senator said: “Excuse me while I yawn, while Democrats left and right, who let’s just say it, Democrats who have kicked Joe Biden around for decades, who kicked him around when he was vice president of the United States, those same Democrats are now coming — oh, by the way, Democrats who said he was toast in 2020 after Iowa and New Hampshire. Now, they’re saying he’s toast again.”

Trump ‘Completely Unacceptable’

McCaskill said Trump, 77, as a candidate for the presidency again was “so completely unacceptable” because of his past behavior and that he should not be in the race for the GOP nomination at all.

Trump ‘Freaks Us Out’

She blasted that Trump was “A mentally deranged, narcissistic, dangerous, horrible man that only knows selfishness. The idea that anybody would be voting for him freaks all of us out.”

Biden’s Middle East Trouble

President Biden is suffering in national polling because of what respondents say is his response to the newly erupted war between Israel and the Hamas terrorist group in Gaza.

Youth Vote and Israel

The majority of people (70 percent) aged 18-34 who took part in a new NBC News poll said they would not vote for Biden because of his support for Israel as it wages war against Hamas, potentially spelling trouble for his second-term ambitions.

Renewed Middle East War

Hamas militants fired thousands of rockets into Israel on the morning of October 7, killing around 1,200 people. Israel responded by declaring war on Hamas, which runs the Gaza Strip, in a renewed, unrelenting conflict that has so far claimed the lives of at least 12,000 Palestinians and creating a humanitarian disaster.

Biden’s Age Problem

Biden is also in voter trouble because of his age. Already the oldest person to have been elected US president, Biden is now 81 and amid a string of falls and gaffes, many are now calling on him to retire from the race.

Trump Ahead in Swing States

While Trump, 77, is of similar age to Biden and has had his own recent blunders, he is leading Biden in polling in five of six key swing states, including Iowa and New Hampshire.

Trump’s Many Issues

But Trump’s campaign to be the GOP nominee for 2024 is weighed down by 91 criminal charges he has been hit with under four indictments that could send him to prison.

Trump’s Legal Fight

The former president and billionaire real estate mogul has been charged with trying to overturn the result of the 2020 election that he lost to Biden. Other indictments relate to alleged mishandling of secret government files and allegedly paying hush money to cover up an alleged affair. He has pleaded not guilty to all and says they charges are a “politically motivated witch hunt.”

‘News from TikTok?’

People online were mixed in their support of Biden. One said on X, formerly Twitter: “These young people that are unhappy with Biden and how he’s handling Gaza. Are they the same young people that are praising a letter written by terrorist Bin Laden? The ones that are getting their news from TikTok?”

‘Old, Worn-Out Man’

Another X user said: “Putting ‘lipstick on the poll’ won’t make matters better. Maybe the youth have better vision and can see an old man for what he is, an old, worn-out man?”

Sick of Polls

Someone else on X offered: “I don’t look at a poll and change my mind. I’m sick of the constant talk of polls. Maybe Biden would be viewed more favorably if the media focused on his many accomplishments.”
