Criminal defendant Donald Trump has called for the Supreme Court to get involved in the “weak lawsuits” against him.

A Barrage of Weak Lawsuits

The former president, as is usually the case, took to social media to express his frustrations. “Crazy! My political opponent has hit me with a barrage of weak lawsuits which require massive amounts of my time [and] money to adjudicate,” he wrote.

Alleged Election Interference

Continuing his tirade, the criminal defendant said: “Resources that would have gone into ads and rallies will now have to be spent fighting these radical left thugs in numerous courts throughout the country. I am leading in all polls, including against Crooked Joe, but this is not a level playing field. It is election interference [and] the Supreme Court must intercede. MAGA!”

Unprecedented and Unconstitutional

In another post, the former president implied that the lawsuits against him are unconstitutional because they’re unprecedented. It didn’t seem to occur to him that the reason such things haven’t happened before is because no former president has committed as many crimes as he has.

Donald Trump’s Words

Trump wrote: “Biden [and] Garland file bogus cases against me, so it becomes difficult for me to campaign. Nothing like this has ever happened before. Must be unconstitutional? But somehow, we will win it all!”

A Politically Unbiased Area

The criminal defendant went on to claim that Washington D.C. is “anti-Trump” and suggested the case be moved to “an impartial venue, such as the politically unbiased nearby West Virginia.” In 2020, Trump won in Virginia.

Speaking about the matter to NPR, lawyer John Lauro said: “We’re looking for a more diverse area that has a more balanced political jury pool, and West Virginia was a state that was more evenly divided.”

The Internet’s Response

News of Trump’s tirade and plea for the Supreme Court to help him was shared across the internet. For the most part, people criticized the criminal defendant. Many pointed out that the lawsuits can hardly be “weak” if he’s so worried about them.

A Delusional Old Man

Others pointed out that the former president is seemingly becoming more and more delusional, thinking he can control the legal system and believe that the Supreme Court can save him from being held accountable.

Pro-Trump Commenters

While most people criticized Trump, his fans did leave comments every now and then. Most of them, however, did not discuss the issue at hand and instead attacked the Democrats and President Biden. A lot of them left generic responses such as: “Trump 2024!”

It Doesn’t Make Sense

One social media commenter pointed out that Trump’s claims about “weak lawsuits” make no sense given his reaction to them. They wrote: “If they’re weak, you don’t have to worry about them. Stop asking the Supreme Court for help.”

Go to Trial

Echoing the aforementioned commenter, another person wrote: “Funny. He calls them weak cases, yet he is begging the SCOTUS and anyone else he can think of to intercede. If the cases are weak, why not go to trial and win? Because they are not weak, and he knows his days are numbered if he can’t incite others to attack for him.”

What a Loser

One individual was particularly harsh with their words. “What a loser, now crying like a baby again to the Supreme Court. They cannot stop the lawful prosecution of Trump. He has been charged. Now, it is up to the system to follow the process. For a guy who calls himself tough, he sure is a crybaby,” they said.

A Worrisome Warning

Others left warnings. One person said: “The Supreme Court needs to understand that if they bend to Trump’s demands, the country is done. He may have put them in the positions they hold, but they owe him no personal loyalty for that.”

Wasting Lifelong Efforts

The commenter continued: “Their careers, hard work, dedication to the justice system, [and] years of sacrifice to hone their skills put them in line for their position. To sell that off for a man they know has bent the laws to provide for his criminal activity would immediately dissolve their lifelong efforts into nothing more than waste.”

A Delusional Whackjob

Another individual said: “Trump is proving what a delusional whackjob he really is. Who does he think he is asking for SCOTUS to intercede in his legal problems? When I went to court, there was no chance of me asking SCOTUS for anything. Throw this crook into a nice dark prison cell for life.”

Trump Dug His Own Hole

Others said the Supreme Court will never get involved. “With as much criticism as the current SCOTUS is receiving, rightfully so, they won’t even touch Trump, and they shouldn’t. He dug his own hole. Let him dig himself out or fail,” one person said.

The Master of Election Interference

One person discussed Trump’s fascist tendency to accuse others of doing things he has done or is doing. They wrote: “He is the master of election interference. See, once again, deflecting. He is the one who tried to overthrow the last election. If he had just been quiet and admitted to losing, he would be campaigning now without some of these charges.”

A MAGA Opinion

While most commenters criticized Trump, his supporters did pop up from time to time. One said: “He is right. The lawsuits are weak, but the corrupt government will keep going and going and going. The Supreme Court is the only way forward. President Trump will not give up, and he will win!”
