In a lengthy, two-hour address in Phoenix, Arizona, former President Donald Trump made a ridiculous comment, reflecting on the possibility of basketball player LeBron James undergoing gender-reassignment surgery and participating in women’s sports.
“The Lakers star would excel in competition against his WNBA peers,” Trump said.

At the “Rally to Protect Our Elections,” Trump questioned the idea that the Los Angeles Lakers star could “get the operation” to participate in women’s sports. He also hinted at the possibility of James considering a gender transition in the future.
“Somebody said that if LeBron James ever decided to get the operation, how would he be on the court? How would he be?” Trump idiotically questioned his audience.

“I’ll be honest, though. Look, we all like to win,” Trump said. “If I were a coach, I tell you, I wouldn’t be talking to too many women as we know women — I’d be getting some of these people that … they’re women.”
Former President Trump remarked that if he were a women’s sports team coach, it would exclusively consist of transgender athletes.
