Tantruming Trump Whines at Fox News After They Omit Him From List of Hard-On-Terrorism Presidents: ‘They Left Out One Person… Trump!’

In another tirade on social media, former president Donald Trump lashed out at a Fox News show for leaving him out when mentioning American presidents who were tough on terrorism.

The hosts of Fox & Friends were discussing the newly erupted war in the Middle East, between Israel and terrorist group Hamas, when they mentioned several US presidents being tough on terrorists, but not Trump — unleashing anger from the billionaire property businessman with his eyes on the White House in 2024.

Trump, using his Truth Social network, blasted the TV hosts for failing to mention him as being strong on terror.

“Fox & Friends this morning stated that, under Ronald Reagan and George Bush (Which one?), there was a tough policy against Terrorists. They’re wrong on Bush, but they left out one person — ‘TRUMP,’ who took out ISIS, al-Baghdadi, Soleimani, and everyone else who was in the way of Justice and Peace.”

Trump suggested that the Fox & Friends hosts ask their bosses “for permission to use my name” when doing a segment on past presidents who successfully battled terrorists. And he added: “The good news is, based on the Polls, the PEOPLE understand!”

Trump’s many legal cases and other problems have not dented his popularity among the Republican voter base. Polls continue to place him far ahead of rivals seeking the party’s nomination for the presidential race next year. He is currently at almost 60 percent of voter support compared to around 10 percent for his nearest contender, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, whose campaign got off to a solid start but has sputtered out due to a variety of issues.

Big Truth Social Following

Trump’s Truth Social account, @realDonaldTrump, has 6.4 million followers; he set up the platform a year after being kicked off Twitter (now called X) in the wake of deadly rioting at the US Capitol in January 2021 after he lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden. Trump had called on his supporters to gather at the seat of American democracy to protest what he branded a “stolen” election. He was indicted earlier this year for attempting to overturn the election results and prevent the peaceful transfer of power from taking place.

Fraud Trial Rant

Trump’s invective against Fox News came shortly after he unleashed fury on social media against a judge and attorney general in a property fraud case that could cost him his business — and hundreds of millions of dollars in fines. That was after he was slapped with a gag order for attacking a senior court clerk. But Trump violated the order — by failing to remove the critical social media post — and the judge fined him $5,000.

Judge Arthur Engoron fined Trump $10,000 on Wednesday for making critical remarks about him to the media before a hearing earlier that day, in a trial taking place in Manhattan.

Taking the Stand

The judge ordered Trump to take the stand and asked him who he had told reporters outside the courtroom was “very partisan” as well as a person “sitting alongside him.”

“You and Cohen,” Trump told the judge, referring to former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, who has been testifying this week.

Storming Out of Court

Shortly after the tense exchange, Trump suddenly got up and stormed out of the courtroom, following statements in court by Cohen that his former boss had never asked him to doctor Trump’s financial statements by making the numbers larger. His Secret Service details, which all ex-presidents have for life, was caught off guard and went running out after Trump.

‘Won the Case’

Trump raged to reporters outside the courtroom: “The witness just admitted that we won the trial. And the judge should end this trial immediately.”

‘Lots of Evidence’

Trump’s legal team asked Judge Engoron to issue a verdict in the trial but he denied the request and said there was evidence “all over the place” that Trump, his adult sons and several Trump Organization executives committed fraud by inflating the value of their properties to get favorable lines of credit from financial institutions including Germany’s Deutsche Bank.

Risk of Losing Control

Trump risks losing his Trump Organization — which includes its prized Trump Tower in Manhattan, where the former president has a penthouse — and the trial has already revoked several of its trading licenses. Prosecutors want a fine of at least $250 million.
