“Riled up by the Hate Machine Just Like the Nazis” – Trump’s Threats of Revenge Feed MAGA Extremist Plot

At the start of Trump’s new presidential campaign, he declared, “I am your retribution.” Since then, he has made numerous threats to seek revenge on those who have stood up to him in the past, as well as put lives in danger through the provocation of his MAGA extreme supporters. He declares revenge if reelected as President and allegedly has a list of people he is looking to target, along with help from his right-wing coalition groups to aid in his cause.

“I Am Your Retribution”

“In 2016, I declared, ‘I am your voice.’ Today, I add: ‘I am your warrior. I am your justice, and for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution,’” Trump made this statement shortly after his first indictment and during his first campaign rally in March.  

Supporters Waved “Witch-Hunt” Banners

Trump found himself amidst his MAGA supporters, who were energetically waving “witch hunt” banners. He seized the opportunity of his inaugural 2024 campaign rally to portray himself as a target of the radical left and the subject of politically motivated legal proceedings.  

US Top General Should Be Executed

In the subsequent period, Donald Trump has made abhorrent claims and threats should he win the Presidency, including touting an idea of incarcerating Biden, proposing the execution of United States General Milley, and even mocking the husband of former House Speaker Pelosi, who was assaulted with a hammer in 2022.  

Milley Took Steps to Protect Himself

In September, Reuters conveyed that General Mark Milley had implemented security measures to safeguard himself and his family, responding to baseless allegations made by Trump on his Truth Social platform, which accused General Milley of colluding with China.  

Punishment Would Have Been Death

“This is an act so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been DEATH!” Trump posted online.  

Trump Would “Stand up to Crazy Pelosi.”

Trump said at another campaign rally he would “stand up to crazy Nancy Pelosi“ if he was reelected as President. In a video released on YouTube, Trump told his crowd of loyal supporters, “The wall around her house…obviously didn’t do a good job” of protecting her elderly husband against his attacker. Pelosi’s husband had his skull fractured with a hammer during the attack.  

Trump to Investigate Every District Attorney

In a campaign speech to supporters in Iowa, Trump said: “To stop the Marxist prosecutors who release rapists and murderers while persecuting Republicans, conservatives, and people of faith like you, I will direct a completely overhauled DOJ to investigate every radical DA and AG in America for their illegal, racist-in-reverse, enforcement of the law.”  

Revenge Investigations for His Rivals

Trump suggested that every attorney who dared to stand up against him in his ongoing legal battles would face Trump’s revenge investigations should he be returned to the White House.  

Trump Now Threatens to Lock up Biden and His Family

Trump has additionally pledged that, if he were to win the election, he would pursue legal action leading to the imprisonment of his opponent, Biden. Former President Trump informed the conservative media figure Glenn Beck that he intended to pursue legal action against his political adversaries if he were reelected.

Rolling Stones recently reported that “Rosters full of MAGAfied lawyers are being assembled. Plans are being laid for an entire new office of the Justice Department dedicated to ‘election integrity.’”

Presently, a coalition of far-right organizations operating under the umbrella of Project 25 is strategizing their methods to seek retribution against Trump’s adversaries.

Project 25 aims to place the entire Executive Branch of the US federal government directly under presidential authority, eroding the independence of the Department of Justice and other agencies.  

“The Right to Do Whatever”

The strategy is founded on an interpretation of the unitary executive theory, asserting that Article Two of the United States Constitution exclusively entrusts executive authority to the President. Trump had previously expressed in 2019 that Article Two afforded him the “right to do whatever as President.”

The Washington Post has recently disclosed a Project 25 plan, which includes the swift activation of the Insurrection Act to deploy the military for domestic law enforcement and instructing the US Department of Justice to pursue Trump’s political opponents.
