In a recent CBS News poll, American citizens voiced their opinions on the country’s financial outlook and the likelihood of war involvement with former President Trump or President Biden at the helm. Many Americans seem to think their wallets would fatten if Trump returned to the Oval Office. A notable 45 percent of those surveyed believe their financial situation would improve with Trump in charge again. They appear hopeful that a Trump-led economy could mean more dollars in their pockets.

According to the survey, many voters are worried about money matters if President Biden remains in office. Nearly 50% predict they’ll have thinner wallets if Biden wins another term. On the flip side, only 18 out of every 100 people think they’ll be better off. In simple words, that’s not a lot of people looking forward to more cash in their pockets with Biden as President.

Trump Seen as Guardian Against War

Voters seem to trust Trump more to keep America out of battles around the world. More than 40 out of every 100 people think Trump would lower the chances of the U.S. joining a war. Some voters think Trump talks in a way that could prevent fights with other countries better than Biden does.

Increased War Fears With Biden

When thinking about the year 2024, almost half of the voters get nervous about the U.S. getting into wars if Biden is still President. They feel that with Biden in charge, the U.S. might be more likely to get into big trouble with other countries. Many of them believe that Trump could save America from these dangers.
