Tried Everything
He tried everything from using an eye mask to sleeping with his back to the window, and even taking natural sleep supplements. Nothing worked

This meant he was always exhausted at work. It got to the point where his boss and colleagues commented on little mistakes he was making, that he wouldn’t normally make.

The man offered to pay for a timer that would control the floodlights, so they would turn off late at night when he and his wife were trying to sleep. The neighbors refused to even consider it.
Taking the Bulbs Out
He said, “I thought about taking the bulbs out or shooting them out with my pellet gun. The solution that I arrived at was to simply loosen them up enough that they wouldn’t come on.”
Took 5 Months to Notice
Because the neighbors couldn’t see the lights from inside their house, it took around 5 or 6 months before they realized that they were not working. They screwed them back in.
