As he addressed the audience, the words “Make it clear” slipped from his lips. Although it is not confirmed if this was a prompt, many listeners have speculated that this phrase might have been a behind-the-scenes direction, unintentionally said.

At the time, Biden was touching upon the contentious issues in Palestine and Ukraine, President Biden set out the U.S. stance. He claimed, “We’ll have something that we do not seek – make it clear we do not seek – we do not seek to have American troops fighting in Russia.” This statement was aimed at dispelling any notions of direct U.S. military intervention.

In the wake of escalating racial tensions, Biden took a firm stance against rising hate crimes in the U.S. He criticized the increase in both anti-Semitism and Islamophobia. The President specifically mentioned the tragic incident involving the murder of a 6-year-old Palestinian-American boy in Chicago. These comments signaled his urgency to address and stop such cruel acts.
