Biden the ‘Worst President in History,’ Claims Tom McClintock as He Says Poor Families Are ‘Fleeing’ From Blue To Red States

Republican congressman Tom McClintock has laid into President Joe Biden for “making the country so poor” that entire families are forced to move from blue to red states — and that Biden is the “worst president in history.”

Seeking ‘Better Lives’

McClintock, of California, made the highly charged comments in an interview in London with UK TV channel GB News and claimed “hundreds of thousands of people” were being forced to “flee” their homes and seek new lives and work in Republican-majority states.

Biden Economy ‘Mess’

That was because, McClintock told the right-wing British outlet, President Biden had made a mess of the economy and people were suffering as a result. He pointed to substantial economic growth in Republican states like Texas, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina compared to what he alluded to as stagnant economies of Democratic-controlled states like California.

‘Failing Blue States’

The congressman, 67, said in his interview: “In the states that the left has taken over, you see exactly the same social and political and economic pathologies. You see failing schools. You see rampant homelessness, rising poverty, sky-high taxes, chronic shortages of basic necessities like electricity, gasoline, water, housing. You see failing businesses and ultimately fleeing families.”

People ‘Voting with Feet’

McClintock, who had been attending a Alliance for Responsible Citizenship Conference in the British capital, continued: “That’s true wherever the left takes over. That is the result of their policies there — they produce very consistent results. I’ve said for years that California Republicans are still winning the vote. The problem is people are now voting with their feet and we’re seeing that across the country.”

‘Never Should Have Been Elected’

McClintock, who is also a fierce critic of the president’s immigration policies, said Biden should never have become commander in chief. “Oh, I don’t think he should have been elected,” he said, in a possible reference to the calamity surrounding the 2020 presidential election that then-president Donald Trump lost but refused to accept defeat.

‘Worst President’ Ever

The congressman said of Biden: “I think he’s been one of the worst presidents in American history. You just see the damage he’s done to the economy, to the border, the inflation rate. The fact that people, after inflation, are making less today than they were when he took office.”

Biden 2024 Run

President Biden is seeking another term in office, and is again running with Kamala Harris, his vice president. Biden is polling nationally at about 70 percent and as practically the only candidate for the Democratic nomination, he is expected to be their choice for the 2024 race.

Questions Over Age, Impeachment

But there are lingering questions about Biden, who is 80 years old and has made a series of public blunders and stumbles. Some say he should retire instead of running for what is one of the toughest jobs in the world. And House Republicans are holding an impeachment inquiry to determine if there’s sufficient evidence over alleged bribery to call for an impeachment vote.

Questionable Transactions

Republicans say Biden’s family — notably son Hunter — received millions of dollars from overseas companies via shell firms he set up while Biden was vice president under president Barack Obama. But Democrats say the president himself did not directly benefit from the funds, and that their efforts to impeach Biden are in retaliation for former president Trump having been impeached a record two times.

‘Ruining the United States’

On the contentious issue of immigration, and a marked rise in people illegally crossing the southern border from Mexico into the United States, McClintock said separately that Biden’s plan to give amnesty to illegals was ruining the country.

‘Overwhelming the US’

McClintock wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “When Democrats mention ‘comprehensive immigration reform’ what they’re referring to is mass amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants who have overwhelmed our schools, our hospitals, our social safety net & our law enforcement agencies. These policies are destroying our cities.”

Problems with Migrants

Many people agreed with the congressman, with one, Glenda George, writing on X that “95 percent [of illegal migrants] do not qualify for asylum. They do not show up for their court date. Immigration law prevents them from giving mass asylum. WE have a problem with illegals committing crime and murder in San Diego.”

‘No Answers’

Someone else, Chris Wonton, suggested that McClintoch had no solutions to the immigration crisis. “The question is what is your policy? By opposing the bill to remove the country cap, you have destroyed the dreams and aspirations of millions of people who could have created billions of dollars of tax revenue. Please expand your horizons.”

‘Trash Talking’ McClintock

Still another person offered to McClintock: “Here’s an idea — talk about your solutions instead of trash talking constantly. We need young people here to offset our aging population. Some immigrants make great  Americans. Come on man.”
